The Unspoken Dialogue

I found these sculptures in my father’s study, or his “cave”, when I barged in without knocking, as I often do. Surrounded by countless trinkets, these two figures immediately drew my attention, silently inviting me to pause. Although they both gesture for quiet, they somehow say so much. Their perfect symmetrical reflection on the surface of the stool was purely coincidental, yet it adds a deeper layer to the scene, just like a mirror for the calm that can exist even in the midst of chaos.
