The Glow Trilogy

In the relaxed ambiance of a lounge, and whilst being in a conversation with a friend, my attention kept wandering to a set of strikingly unique lights mounted on the wall. Their minimalist design and soft glow were mesmerising, each emitting a perfect halo of light, like miniature eclipses suspended in time. No matter how engaging the dialogue, my eyes kept drifting back to their uniqueness.

“The Glow Trilogy” captures three variations of the same wall light, presented in a smooth progression of size—small, medium, and large. Though identical in design, each variation evokes a distinct mood, making them versatile enough to be sold individually or as part of a series.What made this shot special was the technique behind it. By simply adjusting the distance between my camera and each light, I created the illusion of size, transforming a single design into a dynamic sequence. This shot is more than a photograph, it’s a celebration of perspective, simplicity, and the beauty found in everyday design.
