Bridge To Dusk

This shot captures a fleeting, fiery moment over the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge as the sky erupts in shades of orange, gold, and soft violet, gently reflected on the waters below. The towering structure of the bridge rises against the dramatic sky, framed by the silhouette of Lagos in the distance, as day slips into night. But this image is more than a simple sunset. I owe it to my Godmother. Out of nowhere, she called me, insisting I step outside immediately. She could sense that something special was happening. I practically flew out the door, my heart racing with urgency, barely catching my breath as I reached the perfect spot to capture this.

The rush, the stillness of the water, and the majestic sky were all worth it. Every time I see this shot, I remember that breathless sprint, the timing, and her intuition that led me to witness this beautiful transition, a serene bridge to dusk.
