Luminous Nest

Ever since I first laid eyes on the chandelier in the stairwell of my parents’ house, I’ve been inexplicably drawn to its intricate form and the way it plays with light. Titled “Luminous Nest” as part of my Luminous Series in the T-Lodge gallery, this shot captures not just an object, but a moment of wonder. I spent countless days photographing it from every possible angle, each perspective revealing a new facet of its mysterious charm.

My parents often questioned my obsession and asked, why capture the same chandelier over and over again? They couldn’t understand until they saw the final product. In those images, the chandelier transformed into a delicate constellation, a nest of light that radiated warmth and allure. Its luminous embrace spoke to me in a way I can’t fully explain, inviting viewers to see the beauty in repetition and the magic hidden in everyday objects.
