Where Science Touches The Sky

I titled this image “Skyline of Innovation.” It was taken during a group tour around Cambridge University Hospitals, Biomedical Campus, in Cambridge, UK. While everyone else was focused on the tour guide’s explanations, I found myself completely distracted, mesmerised by this incredible view.

Standing on the rooftop of an adjacent building, I was drawn in by the contrast between the sleek, futuristic lines of the campus buildings and the vibrant greenery surrounding them. The sky was vast and alive, with soft clouds rolling across it and the sun casting a golden glow over everything. It felt like a perfect blend of nature and human brilliance, and I knew I had to capture it.

To take this shot, I did something a little nerve-wracking, I balanced my phone on the very edge of the rooftop. My hands were shaking slightly, and I couldn’t ignore the small voice in my head questioning my sanity. But the view was too beautiful to pass up, and the risk felt worth it. Looking at this image now, I’m reminded of how that one daring moment turned into something truly unforgettable. It’s not just a photograph to me; it’s a memory of being lost in awe amidst an otherwise ordinary day.
